Hello!  Welcome to my blog.  Let me tell you a little about myself.

I’m an adventurous, middle-aged woman. I work in technology and love to travel.  I’m married to my soul mate.  I enjoy cooking everything from chicken fried steak to beouf bourguignon (that’s right – I’m a Texan with a Julia Child obsession).  I’m fat.  Working on that, but my epicurean nature makes it really hard. My kids are all of the four-legged furry variety.  I have no sense of style, but I read fashion blogs every day.  I’m fairly nerdy and a voracious reader.

So, what can you expect to read about in this blog?  Who knows?  I have a very weird and eclectic life, so I’ll be writing about whatever tickles my fancy that day.  Sometimes I’ll be insightful, sometimes I’ll be funny (at least I hope I’ll be funny).  Mostly I’ll just tell you stories about my life.  Hope you enjoy!
